Red Valk - Can you tell us about Pananma City Beach in Nov

Several of us have been talking about going to this rally. Can you tell us anything about it?

Bryan/Swoppie puts it on every year. this will be his 7th year i believe. they have some informal dinner gatherings Friday night...then a large group ride Saturday. Of course, there are NO killer roads to ride on the group ride...as we're talking about the panhandle of FL. They'll admit that the curviest road they have is an entrance or exit ramp to the Interstate :roll: :wink:

But that said, it's always fun. Saturday evening another informal dinner gathering...then they meet in a big pavilion with lots of prizes and such. both friday and saturday nights have LOTS of tire kicking and drinking in the parking lot.

it's the last Valk (and Rune too i suppose...i'll be there....Tinpony was there last year...) rally of the year. i'll be there again this year....ya' ought to come!!!! Lots of folks from JAX come....even a couple with blown Valks. Last year, about 180-190 folks there.

dates are Veteran's Day weekend, 10-12 November. though i think he said he would start a day early, so a FEW early birds may show up thursday night? there MAY be an informal group ride Friday during the day???? But most will show up friday afternoon/evening.

1-800-327-0067 Make sure you mention Valkyrie rally or Dragons on the Beach, or they'll tell you there are no rooms. They have about 200 rooms blocked for the event.

yea....i really wanted to go to CBR. but after going to IZ....then DOTS....then my mother dieing.....then Rune Rally, i'd only been home a few weeks since July! Too much to do on the 'back forty'.

now i'm caught up again. i'll be at PCB. not sure if i'll ride the Valk down (if Sherry doesn't go, i'll ride the Valk, bring my stuff).....or take the Rune (if Sherry DOES go, i'll ride the Rune down...she'll come down later in the truck and trailer with the clothes and her Rune!). Seems like i alternate taking the Valk vs Rune the last three years.......


Oh yea, any day now, Swoppie should have a registration page up. we ALL (all that are going to PCB) need to go sign up when he gets that "who's going" list up. There is no registration fee, he just needs to know numbers for planning purposes.....
