yea....the weather is always scary that time of year...for those of you coming from a bit farther north! i remember one year, when it was time to go, the weather was in the 30s ....windy....cloudy.
i stopped at a Walmart on the way back and bought more clothes to put on to keep warm....and did lots of coffee stops. YES.....i rode that year, instead of trailering   8)
I may ride down this year....ahead of Sherry. But you KNOW Sherry will bring the dogs....and the trailer....or she won't go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She wants me to wait and come down with her. we'll see.

.those hounds are always complication things.
I have a suggestion, one medium sized iron pot, four large turnips and a bay leaf.

Sherry and i will be leaving for Panama City Beach Friday morning....after she gets off work. It's been a rough week for me...i have a MAJOR sinus infection ....been out of work two days now (but got some GOOD drugs from the Doc today...so SHOULD start getting better soon??)....and i got a severe sprain of my right ankle saturday while jumping up and down on a big tree trying to free a bound chain saw (it's a long story....)....and i can just now walk well again. i haven't ridden any since the injury....but we'll trailer the bikes down and hope i can ride some when i get there?
if not, we'll just party down with everyone at night...............
but i think i'll be able to ride by then...if i'm careful...and where a support under my boot. The swelling went down enough today i could finally get my boot on again!
anyway, see some of you who signed up at PCB. That's Chuck's sister's back yard, so i know we'll see her. Probably Chuck....3PuttShank....others.......
the DJ for the event is a friend of mine, he does my Cheaha rally DJ stuff too....so it WILL be a good time down on the old beach! Weather is supposed to be good too....

I hope you guys have a great time! I decided to head north to the Blue Ridge and have not been disappointed. I am just outside Roanoke, Va tonight and will be headed over towards Erwin tomorrow. The weather is gorgeous and I am enjoying the curves and the mountains.
On the road through Sunday (alone) I have done about 900 miles since yesterday!! Weather was 73 degrees in Roanoke this afternoon and the sun is bright!
Have a great time! Hope to see you all soon.

Sorry I missed everyone. Chuck couldn't make it and I didn't want to show up in baby Huey (my surburban), and drool over everyone riding, looking like a forlorn lost puppy. (Theres that dog thing again). Anyway, hope you all had fun. Hopefully, see ya next time.
'ARF' "WOOF" that dog thing! dog
