I like it. The multimode transmission with the handlebar-mounted F1-type shifter looks like it would be fun to try.

oh i agree. and in some ways, i'm sort of glad it isn't something that interests me. I've got three bikes in the garage, i've got a pretty big gun hobby, ham radio, fishing, and a daughter i'm putting thru Vet college for some 6-8 years....so the last thing i need, is another cool bike that i would want to buy!!! 8)

oh, my wife and daughter are big into horses, so of course there's all the expense of having 7 horses, saddles, trailers, Vet bills, etc.

yea, everytime someone says "you got to see this new bike"....or in September when Honda comes out with the new models, i always break out into a cold sweat....worried there WILL be something i just can't live with  :?

So far, Honda hasn't dissappointed me the last three years...since i bought my Rune. NOTHING else has interested me. Lord help me if they DO come out with some new Valk....or other BIG multi-cylinder bike!!!!!!

I would buy it for sure. I have SilverWing 600 - I like it very much. Riding the scooter is a completely different experience. Everyone should try this. Especially in city traffic...great handling, nimbleness, comfort.

PlanetRune1, you'll NEVER hear me say i'm bored.....that i have nothing to do. NEVER. it's go....go....go. Non stop. weekdays are spent working and lifting weights (2 hours a day, four days).....don't get to sit down and eat dinner until about 800 pm. Then a couple hours to unwind and hit the sack.

Weekends, i try to ride one day, work around 'the back 40' the other day. party each night! I try to do one rally per month...but some months, i take in two rallies. I trailer there, often driving by night nonstop until i get there....do the rally thing, then trailer back.

My wife is the NBHA Director for our area. So she puts on AT LEAST one horse show per month (barrel racing). So she and my daughter are gone one or two weekends per month.

We coordinate on the calendar at the beginning of the year when we can go do things together during the year. It's that busy......

oh, we work at or put on at least 4 bike rallies per year.

DarekF6C....i HAVE ridden a Silver Wing. We bought one for a friend on the Valk board...gave it to him at our Valk rally up at Cheaha. it's a long story. He lost a foot, needed a bike he didn't have to shift.....thus the Silver Wing. I was impressed how the 'little' scoot would get up and go. But it DANG was NOT my cup of tea. Too little. And....everytime i grabbed for the clutch when i'd START coming to a stop (after 36 years of riding bikes WITH clutches, it's just hard to break that habit!)...even though i TRIED to tell myself not to do that, well, you can imagine what happened. The brakes work REAL good. i'd wind up almost FLYING over the front of the bike. I rode the bike several times during the month i kept it...waiting to take it up the mountain to give it away. Everytime i rode it, i dang near crashed due to that 'clutch situation'

Nope, i'm a BIG bike.....cruiser only....kind of guy....
