Are they between 18000.00 and 19000.00? If so you'll be doing fine. About the same one can own one in Ohio. Good luck! dog

You guys are lucky - The new Runes in California have only been discounted to $21,999.00 and thats NOT OTD

no.....guys.....Honda East wants $20,110 OTD...tax not included....and an email from Southern is the same as their website....$21,900.....I sent I got a response from Southern not saying much and I asked them if they could beat $20,2 with no reply....I guess not...that's a big spread between 20.2 and 21.9
This is for a Chrome Edition '05 rear set bars............I'd still have 6% sales tax on either price....

The $17,500 was for an '04 Spec and the $19,500 for an '04 Chrome...

I called the Ohio dealer who's selling them for so cheap. Unfortunately, they won't sell to anyone in CA one of their bikes new, unless we have some way to register it out of state (or like the dealer in Reno, it's a CA bike).

Or your willing to pick it up there, take the longest route possible home in order to get close to or at the 7500 mile requirement.

Yeah....Giant...I saw that......you need to rack up the 7500 miles to register it in Cali....luckily I'm only 4 hours away from Toledo.....interestingly enough KBB for bikes on an '05 is $19,700...dont know if that considers the Chrome Edition or not....so I'll probably drive up and trailer it back.....

If I can be of any assistance on an Ohio bike for storage or riding and rack up the miles "I'm there" I got room for 2 to 4 but it would take a bit for racking up the mileage, now if I had 2; I could almost get them real close then fly in pick it up and ride the rest of the way home to complete the necessary completion of 7500 miles. dog

dog, I knew you would be there for the Cali boys... and gals

Oh by the way for the Cali boys and gals, there is an 04 in the best and hardest color to find, Illusion Blue (California) Bike on E-bay

Motoworld has an Illusion blue that just came in from the warehouse...0 miles. So, do we get a bike for less, pre-ridden by dog, or spend a little more for a virgin bike? (and that's a kind offer you have there dog...)

Help has arrived...Just because I am such a nice guy...I will solve this 7500 mile issue for you...

Here is the solution...
You buy a rear set chrome 05 Rune .....I will meet you wherever you go to pick it up...on the street we will swap titles and bikes....problem solved... 8) By the way...mine is rear set Spec wheels with 38,000 miles on it...still looks like new.... It will be a sacrifice because I love my bike so... but in an effort to help a fellow Rune nut out...I will sacrifice my girl for a new...altho not broken in model.... :biker:

RUNE_GAINT what are you waiting for ? $19500 out the door that's better than 17500 before tax, license, set up, freight and doc fees. THUMPER

That's what I'm hoping for. The wife won't budge just yet until we get some orders for the bags.

I went down today and saw the Blue one Motoworld had on the floor. Good news is the bags will look real nice, not too bulky. I do want to make some small changes, mainly right at the outside bottom edge so it mimics the chrome piece below the tank.

But I'm real close to moving onto the final phase.

As far as the bike, I'm kinda leaning towards the CBC. One thing I noticed on the bike they had on the floor, which hasn't been there for more than a week, was there seemed to be lots of little swirl scratches in the clear coat. I'm guessing they weren't too careful getting the bike out of the crate and cleaning it?

Bikes that sit on the floor get "polished" by the staff. They might as well just sandpaper the paint and get it over with.

GREGG, you gotta tell the wife that the boys on the broad are starting to think that I'm just like those wimpy Harley boys, not A REAL RUME MAN that I want to be. I remember my first harley I had be beg my wife, but not with my Rune I pulled up my pants and just came home a smile and Rune! LOL (just giving you a bad time, really would like to have another S.CAL boy get one ) ..............THUMPER

Me too...it's been almost exactly a YEAR since that fateful day I saw the black one in the same shop and sat on it.
Harley's used to be cool, but now they're more of a "me too" bike.

Hi,

Sorry to "break in", but as a non native English speaking person, I'm forced to ask ( ) : What is OTD an abbreviation for ? - Thank you in advance.
