Just Got A Rune

Well I finally did it. Just closed the deal over the phone. It's a new '05 black Rune that has the Corbin Smuggler Tail installed.

As Runeski once commented about me, that I have been lurking around this board for a long time. He was right as I was waiting for the right Rune for me. Well I have been in admiration of this machine way too long. So I finally did it. I'm trading in an ausom VTX 1800C. The VTX is a great bike and I got a great deal on it, but it just wasn't me. Now I'll have the Rune, a Valk Std, and an 1800 Wing. I guess I just :D love the opposed 6 engine. That's it for me I guess.

This is a great board. I've been reading it for some time. Without this Board owning a Rune would not be the same.

David: Right on. I've been admiring that bike for a while and Jeff gave me a SMOKIN' price from the before the Honda money price. I don't know how much Honda money is out there, but it must be alot. If Honda ever restarted production and reduced the price to near Gold Wing prices, they'd sell plenty of Runes.

This is my third bike from Des Plaines Honda. I have nothing but praise for Jeff and all the whole crew from Des Plains.
