It finally came in a month after I got it and of course after the first snow - figures.

I have been riding a custom VTX1800 for the last 4 years - this is a completely different ride. Quite a different application of power, much smoother and VERY torquey - not that ther X wasn't torquey - but the roll on in 5th on the RUNE is amazing. When I picked it up it was 50 degrees so I got in all of about 45 miles on it thus far. Quite an awesome ride. I am very impressed - now just to set it up for 500 mile plus rides and I will be all set.

Thanks - I really like to Black. Looks great - I have all my riding gear in black so it is a good match. Supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow so looks like it will be time to put on some breakin miles

Have you modified the exhaust? ie., drilled holes? I have mine done as many on this RUNE board have done and actually love it! Dog has changed his exhaust to the RIVCO as they add a unique look and sound good too....but for two holes drilled....you cannot beat the mod to the existing exhaust...

No to the exhaust. All I have done so far was put on a Windvest. I will put on Rivco highway pegs tomorrow. other mods will wait till deep winter down time
