both look good in the pics on HDL's website, any reason to pay almost double for the Lamonster???

Dragon,
Maybe the more expensive ones are billet and the less expensive ones are cast :?:

Brake covers have broken lines on some Runes and have had to be replaced and or fixed paint jobs from bursting brake lines when going over big bumps. Hope this helps. Brake fluid sure leaves a mess. dog

Thanks dog, but I am not looking at the rivco caliper covers, but the reservoir covers up on the handle bars, the honda ones are nice and chrome, but have the stamped language about brake fluid and stuff, and the aftermarket ones are nice and plane.

the cycle house look like this

Buy a set from each and keep the set you like the best!!

yea, makes sense to order both, but I used to be a member of the CBA (cheap b#@$ards of America), so I really want to order the cheaper set.

I say used to be, because I think owing a Rune will cause them to revoke my membership

I am confused because they use cycle house name for the products they make. They must have copied the lamnster version and had them cast to get the price down.

I feel good. I got a brand new chromed billet alum pair on E-Bay 6-7 months ago for 20 bucks flat with 4 bucks shipping. They came from Florida and the seller was a jeweler who sold a few other sets at 30-40 bucks a pop before disappearing

Be very carefull when installing,You don't want brake fluid splashes or drips/cover well and use tons of rags! There has been a few problems with a few of the board members. Maybe they'll post there actual problems and remedies. dog
