The Unigo trailer is currently made by School house motorcycle accessories in Ohio. When I got mine, they were just starting production after purchasing the Unigo company out of new Zealand. They were behind in getting parts and other stuff. Their paint was poor. I have talked to them since then and they have a new painter. All growing pains. Hopefully all is well now. The paint you see on the trailer is garnet red from Kragen auto supply. Schoolhouse had trouble with the color match so I had them ship it black. I took it to my local body shop for paint, they wanted $800 on the cheap side to $1300 on the high side to match the bike.I painted it in my garage for $50 in paint out of a spray can and sandpaper. If it gets dinged and nicked up, Ill paint it again. Its a trailer. The lines you see are a clear static cling plastic I use to protect it. The black portion in the front is from factory. Thats plastic coated. It was easier just to leave it on.
Trailer will cost you $2500 to 3,000. When you start looking at trailers, thats about par on price. I found some much higher. I got a new rear harness from ronayers.com for $22 and spiced it in. I still have the old harness if i swap back. I went with this trailer because of its low weight and that it leans and follows the bike. Its weighs less fully loaded than almost all other trailers do empty. Its 70 lbs empty and hold 110 pounds. PLUS its small enough to take in the hotel room. I have formed fitted bags that are made to fit inside trailer. Ive put over 5000 mile on it.
You do not have to change your riding style at all. Anyone who goes to Truckee for the Rune meet will see just how well it handles. Just make sure when you park you use a pull thru. If I have to back up, I just pick up the trailer and move it. Some of my coworkers ride hardleys. They could not understand how a 900 lb bike with a trailer could wax them on the twistys here in Ca. I would have pull over and wait for them. If you wish to check out trailers, do a google search for "motorcycle trailer index". All trailers are there except Unigo. There are some pretty cool trailers out there. Bustec, champion, plus one that makes the trailers look like cars. But again the weight was to high. Make sure you get the combination lock and not the key one for the lid. I also mounted a harley side car luggage rack to the top. Fits perfect. Any questions, just ask.

Jakeboss, thanks for posting the pics here!!

The 200 tire fits on a stock bike. I do not think it will fit with the trailer hitch due to design.

The hitch is from hitch usa, looks the same as denray.

So, Dog do you know this for sure? Do you have a trailer? Was this a guess?
One person says it prob won't fit, Dog says it will. What's the right answer? Can Dog provide detail as to how he 'knows' this?

Update: Got a PM from Dog explaining in good detail that this'll fit. The tire should not interfere. Good info Dog!

Dog...someone is throwing bait in the water again. If you leave it alone, it will float downstream and hopefully never be heard from again.

No 3Putt, I seriously want to know. I'm considering a hitch + trailer combo. I'm trying to sort thru the BS and get down to the facts. If he knows, great please explain. If it was a guess (or something else) just say so.

That's a pretty nice solution for a trailer. Back when I had my split window bus, a number of people had some pretty cool single wheel trailers. I had considered designing one for the bike, but this looks pretty close to what I would've come up with.

So, does the garnet red come pretty close to the Honda red?

I installed my Denray hitch, and it had to be modified to accomodate my 200 tires. I don't think that it would have worked with the stock tires as the hitch was crooked.

The friggin tire is about a little less than an inch difference, low profile mostly. If'n the hitch goes up to the single arm near the top of the tire, one can hardly get a finger in there. This is not rocket science. Take a measurement, you'll see for yourself. BS is that code for a Big Smile :D dog p/s F6 we're bound to meet one day! Sooner than winkid.dog Tread nicely.dog (3putts I just flushed the toilet and I feel a whole lot better)! :capwin: dog

Take a look at my post on the cracked hitch. I had a friend beef it up. I may add a little more braceing when I put it on again.

It broke clean off on the left side without the brace.

Glad to hear your tire fit. I have run both the 200 and 210 on the rear.
The 200 just fit and the 210 rubbed the swingarm and only lasted 4,000 miles.
NOW
I run a bridgestone excedra 130 front and a bridgestone battleax 180
BT014 rear. $96 for the front and $109 for the rear.
$25 bucks each to put on.
7-7500 miles from the front
5-5500 miles for the rear (more if I stay off the gas)
Stock tires are now over $400 from Honda direct.
