last night after anything worth watching on tv went off, I stepped out into the garage to get some fresh air... I took a seat on my work stool and just sat and stared at the rune... admiring every inch of it... awesome wheels, the flow and curves of the body... a huge engine, and oversize forks.... man.... the rune is truly, an awesome machine... :biker:

Before I bought the Rune, I was riding a 96 Magna 750. I bought the Rune for special rides etc.. Figuring I would continue to ride the magna for everything else. Since I bought the Rune I have ridden the magna once.

Anyone interested in a nice magna??? :biker: By the way it is Red.

And I thought I was the only one who stripped the Rune with my eyes. Good to know I'm not alone.

Like many others on the board, I too have owned many different bikes. The Rune is a bike that can truely capture every ounce of attention you may have. I think we've all found ourselves looking in awe thinking "I can't friggen believe I have one!" and smiling the whole time. You know the smile........

I Do The same thing Stewie, as I'm sure we all do. I just can't understand why I didn't listen to my wife and get mine 2 years ago, instead of 2 months ago. The weekend I brought mine home she went shopping and asked if I needed a sleeping bag, I asked why, since I don't camp. Her thought was that I would be sleeping along side my new baby in the garage.

I've sold one our couches and it now watches television with us. It's part of the family,I have lunch on it and the lad has breakfast on it. The wife vacuums around us both, with her leathers on. Boy does she ever smell like a new car. Everything I've ever read thus far the bike is all male (not meaning to be owned by males) but it's not a her bike or a she bike. The first bike I've never called it a her she or my girl. All Gothic readings are all about gods and Soldiers and Vikings etc etc. Something to consider. It's all male and looks the part stealthily too! (My 2 cents only) :money1: dog

Not only do I go out and look at it, but I sit on it, grab onto the grips and close my eyes, picturing the next time I'll be out on it.

Recently I was getting a Rune poster framed. While at the counter with the poster open choosing frames people behind the counter and customers walking by stopped and commented "what a beautiful motorcycle" What's even better no one called it an HD. When with RuneSki, Rich on his Rune and me on the Boss, folks step over the Boss to look at the Rune. I admit that I am horribly disfigured and smell a little by Saturday but I feel like rushing home and getting the Rune so I to can get some attention. After 3 years the motorcycle still holds it's appeal.

It did not escape my attention that you conveniently neglected to mention the ankle bracelet you were ordered to wear by the local constabulary.

Not everyone is aware of the incident, last spring, involving a neighbor’s goat.

Howell, NJ arrest records document a 2:15 A.M. disturbance at a local barnyard.
When police responded runeryder99 was observed in what was described as
engaged in expressing unnatural fondness for various farm animals.

Not only do I go out and look at it, but I sit on it, grab onto the grips and close my eyes, picturing the next time I'll be out on it.Right with you Rune brother!!!! Now we all can understand the attention this bike gets from all the onlookers. Having to watch it sit in the garage as I wait for decent weather is tough at times, but being able to stare at it just puts my mind at ease knowing that in only a week or so, the real fun will begin. Thank God I'm not the only one who stares at this bike! I 've only had it for 2 weeks and 700 miles and I was hoping the awe would eventually wear off... obviously not!
