Actually, I thought there were some very favorable comments for a Non Rune board. I once read some horrible stuff on the Valkyrie board-those guys are wanna-be Rune owners who are short of money. These comments stated the Rune is a little pricey and it is if you are used to buying VTX's. They also thought it is fast and commanded a lot of attention when seen at bike events. I OK with that although I don't think the bike is particularly fast; but for me fast enough. :D

would have bought a Rune for a (relatively) measley 20G's waaaayyy
before I'd buy any look-a-like, big buck, 'custom' V-twin from anyone.

The Rune was, and is, a truly unique motorcycle. Park the thing in with a bunch of skulled and flamed (yawnnn!) Harley-clone 'customs', and it looks like the Enterprise landed in a field of farm tractors.
