NkBrkr and I have the blue bulbs at 7000 candle power instead of the stock 5000....they look like HIDs at nite with the blue hue. Beware of cheap bulbs...2 of our group bought cheap ones and both had blown bulbs on the way to Reno Street Vibrations from the bumpy roads. Japanese make the best bulbs and youll have to spend at least $35 to get a decent set.
Try these ones www.luminicsbulbs.com (http://www.luminicsbulbs.com) I have the blue ones...I wonder what the ultra violet ones look like?

I gave my $80 PIAA super brite white bulbs to Windskin when I got these bulbs...still waiting on a report from him but he doesnt talk to the Roseville Hoodlums anymore.

Are you saying that from personal experience or hearsay?
I have had no problems with the Luminics losing their color..
The PIAAs are great bulbs but to pricey for bulbs and not enough blue Hue for my liking.

no bluer than HID lites...Very subtle hue.

Hey hgslyr I still talk to you fools, I've just been busy lately. The bulbs work great. Much brighter and whiter. I'd like to try the ultra violet, but for now the bulbs you gave me work great. They make the stock bulbs look yellow by comparison.

Just wondering-
Does anyone actually believe those bulbs listed on e-bay are real Xenon bulbs? I see the listing uses the term HID as well but unless they come with a seperate ignitor (ballast), they're just normal bulbs colored to resemble HID's.
I'm not saying they don't work better than the stock bulbs but I was just wondering if anyone really thinks they're getting HID's for $7.95?

Your right...there not HIDs. The bullbs were talking about are brighter and look like HIDs because or the blueness. I wouldnt buy cheap $7.00 bulbs because the first bump you hit theyre gone.
Glad you like those bulbs Windskin...Now I would have to look at your yellow lites in my mirror when I'm smokin ya.
