How do you get that bike on and off a Truck without dumping it? I have done sport bikes on my Tundra, but don't have the nerve to try it with that much weight. :?:

Ski,
Congrats on the 'wing'. I actually miss the wing I traded for the Rune
when it comes to long rides and my camera gear. Maybe we'll see what's
next at the Hoot? I'm off to Sonoma (healdsburg) middle of May and
would have ridden if I had a Tourer. Bet you don't feel at all limited in
the wings abilities to tear up the twisties. I didn't.
Tara
Are you bringing the Rune on the trailer? I used to live in Napa Valley before moving to Roseville. Stop by Roseville on your way and we can meet up at Roseville cycle center if its a weekend.

I used to work at The Court of 2 Sisters Pastry shop at Vintage 1870 in Yountville..Pastries by a mean old German Pastry Chef...but unbelievable stuff, too beautiful to eat. Best Croissants ever.
Now you got me reminiscing (SP).

Guys,
I have the Bushtec in the Tundra. I would not attempt to put the Wing or Rune in the bed of a P.U truck

My next in country photo trip is going to be the little remaining "Juke Joints"
between Atlanta and Memphis. Good BBQ, good blues music and good
photos. I think a couple weeks on the Rune should be an adventure.
maybe I could hold your bag for a night or two :)

Check out the interstate BBQ in Memphis. Hands down in my opinion the best.

Sorry about that-my bad-I did not read your post correctly and at the same time was hoping you came up with a safe way to load a Rune into and out of the back of a pickup.

Hello,
I'm back. Was not a happy dude on Friday. I arrived at Bushtec (Jacksboro Tenn. ) on Friday Morning soon after the doors were unlocked at 9 am. I told the gentleman ( Andrew ) who I was and what I was there for. He looked at me and said, weren't you supposed to have been here yesterday? I said,no it was arranged that I was to be here today. Another fellow (Mike ) went out and retreived a dark red Bushtec Quantum GL trailer from the warehouse and placed it behind my truck. I said "that can't be mine, there is no spoiler attached" as was discussed between me and the salesman ( Matt ) where I purchased it who packed it for shipping and screwed up originally.
Andrew called the dealership in Murfreeboro Tenn. and spoke to Matt who sold and screwed every thing thus far and said to me " Matt said no arrangements were made to have a spoiler installed, when I heard that I said :hun1: :22yikes: :cus: . I asked for the phone and asked Matt him if he kidding, he said no.
Well to make a long story short I went over the entire proceedings since Feb. and laid it out step by step, and he finally, agreed again to have one installed in Americade, this time I got it in writing ( a work order ) from Andrew to have a spoiler installed by him at Americade at Sloan's expense ( an extra $75.00 ) on top of the $399.00 , and my expenses gas, hotel, tolls and food for going out to Tenn.instead of them sending me a new trailer via truck transport. It will cost them more this way

Yeah, but just imagine how screwed you would have been if they thought you were from the swamp and not a Joisey Boy.

Dan,
I could not imagine it could have been any worse, believe me, no matter where I could have been from. I am happy for "Salesman Matt" that he was not in the same building with me at the time he said "that was not part of the deal".
