I know it's in poor taste, but it reminds me of the joke about what's the last thing to go through a bug's mind as it hits your windshield.

I have a hard time believing that the rider wasn't killed. It is sad to hear about the driver and passenger.

Wow....That was some smash=up. The speed of the bike must have been extreme. the only way the bike rider survives that one it to be launched over the car. I haven't seen the article on that accident, but I would guess that the car pulled out in front of the bike that was traveling at a very high rate of speed. The bike looks like a Honda crotch rocket. The Honda emblem is the only thing recognizable. To me those bike are very low profile and difficult to see when they travel at high rates of speed. They seem to look like they are further away than they actually are. They close the distance so quickly. Very sad. :cry:

From the Internet;

The photos show the result of a fatal collision in Sweden.

The Honda rider was traveling at such a "very high speed", his reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. Swedish Police estimate a speed of 250km/h before the bike hit the slow moving car side-on at an intersection.

At that speed, they predicted that the rider's reaction time (once the vehicle came into view) wasn't sufficient enough for him to even apply the brakes. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 3 metres from where the collision took place.

All three involved (two in car and rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Stockholm Motorcycle Fair by the Swedish Police and Road Safety Department. The sign above the display also noted that the rider had only recently obtained his license.
