You mean the Corbin Trim-Tab?
You can see one on my avatar picture. It looks way cool.
But it broke 3 sets of brackets inside the headlight, 2 of them at $55 a pop and the other one was $5 but a PIA to change out, plus having to cut and splice the cable in the headlight to get it back together. There is a whole lot of wind load force on those brackets that is excessive. The mounting on the steering fork is good. A few guys figured out how to take the slack out of the worm gear, especially when going over RR tracks and bumpy roads.
I forgot who bought mine from me. If he reads this, I found the worm gear adjusting parts. They were wrapped but got "cleaned up" by Kat and were put away. I just found them when I was looking for some brake pads.

Ken,I bought your trim tab, had it repaired and repainted, replaced the part that hides under the chrome cover that u say break, it did and I welded 2 of them together then also put the side support struts on ther handle bars and used loctite on some new allen bolts (instead of phillips head) more tork,on the bolts, but Im now supporting, well over 10lbs of stereo dvd player with no more lossening or broken parts,Im very happy with mine and I just love how it adds to the high tech look of the bike. I dont need better wind protection because I very rarely go on the express way (my biker babe doesnt like the high speeds and noise, see avatar). I must admit thou I do like the one that somebody made fit from the VTX alot too, it looks good on the Rune.
I recommend the Corbin Timtab Fairing. After over 7,000 high speed miles my neck is not sore or much stronger. ;) Mine came with the Rune and has been an asset. In Yellowstone I cranked it up so I could go without a helmet over 50 mph with the wind going over my head. With my Shoei full face I trim it down for streamlining so I feel a bit of cooling wind on my visor. It appears to increase my gasoline mileage some. I think it is about $1,400 from Corbin painted to match your Rune and worth the money.

I love my corbin. No head buffeting when the speedo reads 3 figures and I haven't had any problem at all with excessive play or not staying where I put it. I've checked the bracket and there is no sign of stress cracks, etc, including on the headlight. HIghly recommended and cool looking to boot.

What Wolverine doesn't tell you is that his avatar is a real picture taken after a short run with the Corbin.

I don't know when I first saw it I thought that it looked like the head part from the Alien from the movies but it sort of grows on you like their rear packs. At first I didn't like them but when you see them on other runes the continue the flow of the bike JMHO :pepper1: :pepper1:   :| :croc:

I have a red Corbin Trim Tab that I have used less than one year that I will sell for $700 plus you pay shipping. I never experienced the movement or failure problems that some have noted here.
