DSL is what I have (2 x 1.5 data circuits bonded in a Cisco 1700) run whatever you can find to get online!

at home...i have dial up in the sticks. it's that...or Hughes net ($$$$) ....those are the ONLY TWO CHOICES in the sticks of Alabama where i live.
My speed? ON A GOOD DAY....20k on the old dial up............ON A GOOD DAY.......
that's why i don't do much interenet at home! :a13:

still dial up. Verizon gave me a USB device to try. Most the time, no bars. When it worked....it was somewhat fast at times....as slow as dial up at other times...and....half the time...NO SIGNAL. so i took it back.
there are some USB devices that let you attach an external antenna to improve signal strength. I might have to go that route..........SOME DAY???????????????
meanwhile, 19-21k.........consistently..........both ways...........on a GOOD day..........:no1:
