    Default Triple tree

The triple tree, fork legs, and wheel reinstalled. The triple tree is from Morton's; a chromed VTX 1800 version with the 7 degree rake. The top plate was drilled for HD bars. The fork legs are VTX 1800, and have been polished.

    Default Front Brakes

Installed the front brakes; "Hawg Halters". Stumpwerx makes the adapters to fit them to the VTX front end, they are shown before being chromed.

    Default Bars and controls

Installed the handlebars. These are from Custom Cycle Control Systems. They feature micro switches with internal wiring, and internal master cylinders for the brake and clutch.

Same ones I have on the Lucky7 Radial bike. Awesome hidden controls and a very helpful company who backs their products.

Dr. Dave it is clear you are doing a magnificent job, and I’m proud of you. However I’d like to point out it took less tine for the Egyptians to build the pyramids.

I have heard that you actually worked on the pyramids in your youth!! My project could go a lot faster if you would just send me one of your PLATINUM cards.

I am betting Dr. Dave will have his bike done before Anthony gets those intakes on!

Dave - Will that thing be finished before I get there in June?

    Default Update time

My bike has been at Perpetual Motion here in Steamboat Springs since February 1, 2015. Kevin, the owner, is a very gifted fabricator. The first pic shows the bike with the bodywork in place, including a set of Joly's side covers . The next pics show the covers Kevin made up out of aluminum. They will be sent off for chroming.

That is looking real good Dave. I like the custom cowling... but what are you doing for a radiator?
You've got to make a video with sound when you fire that puppy up.

I'd love to be there in person to hear it...

Thanks for the compliments. This has been a big project.
It uses the radiator and fan from a VTX 1800, along with a custom after market radiator surround with a chin spoiler.

That should be somewhere around two months after Hell freezes over.
