Ya know, it always takes a wise A$$ to Rune a special project. Hey Swamp Rat, let the Doc do his project and do the job right. I don't see you giving him a hand ( out ) ( Credit card #'s with approved signature) would be helpful. Otherwise BUZZ OFF!!
Good job Doc,can't wait to see the finished product !!

Actually I was of assistance to the good doctor, I made a phone call for him.
SiteData;Chuck is correct. (OMG, I HATE saying thatActually I was of assistance to the good doctor, I made a phone call for him.) He helped me at a crucial time when my bike was still in the clutches of a maniac bike builder.
After 4 years of silence the motor started with a ROAR!!! What a sound those 6 pipes make.
Dr Dave
My project reached a milestone this week!! Chassis is mostly complete along with body panels.
I will post some pics. It goes to my fabricator's shop for fuel tank and rear fender next week.
I first asked you about this on May 12, 2012,
It is a dammed good thing you are not running an Emergency Room.

As Chuck points out: this project has taken a long time to get here. A big part of the blame goes to a builder who promised me he would get the rear wheel conversion done in 6 to 8 weeks. He ended up keeping my bike for 2 YEARS, 4 MONTHS, and 10 DAYS!!
When it finally WAS returned to me; it was unrideable and unsafe. Kevin (builder), Dale (machinist), and myself, re-engineered and remade the rear wheel attachment among other things.
The rear fender was one of those things. After spending much time and money we decided to abandon the body work as unusable.
The paint looks good though! A clear case of all show-no go!
In the meantime I had installed chrome side covers (Joly), and Kevin fabricated a dashboard, and injector covers, as well as rear panels. We have decided to build a new much smaller and lighter tank, as well as a new lighter and smaller rear section. I'm just about at the point of sharing some photos.
