Default Greetings from Ken Crawley and KatonAHotTinRune

Kat & I moved off the mountaintop in Idaho and into a house in Spokane WA.
The last trip I took was into Montana to a wedding and the black Rune with TungstenDisulphide in the engine ran great.

Last December I was diagnosed with lung cancer and my riding days are over until I recover from this frikkin' disease.
I hope all you guys & gals are surviving the weather, politics, and pestilience we are being blessed with!

Lung cancer.....crap. Hope you are able to fight that crap off and ride another day..........

You've gone from the Coast in South Carolina.....into the mountains, and now close to the other coast. Heck of a change in location, climate....and culture no doubt!

    Pete,
You are right. I will beat this!

The move was 180 degrees out from my choice. In fact, the situation that got me here, could not have been any more comical and the lesson is --- that nothing is my choice or my control 'cept my attitude.
I am not in the driver seat. Even the fact that the parking for the bike would now be perfect, compared to 8 switchbacks up a rocky 14degree incline mountain logging path, is of no use to me since I can't back myself up to the bike and raise it off the ground if it lay down.

The upside: a top notch cancer center is a 10 minute drive to their parking lot (where you cellphone in and they call you when you can come in).
Gosh, the shopping in East Washington state is incredible. But I cant pop the annoying squirrel prancing along the power line with my pellet rifle (much less the .50AE carbine......) because I'm next to a field full of Cessnas and Piper Cubs! So many Idaho guns, and no "downrange" capability!

Holy hell! Sorry to hear about your situation Ken. Having Cancer is bad enough without having to deal with it AND this COVID business. Best wishes for a quick remission!
