Hi,just for the record, when you go to each bike & you click on the 05 tab you will notice that the 04 bike shown does not change to an 05 try this with the 1800c which should go to an 1800f or at least the pic should change, & it don't. So my question to Honda still stands whats up with your websight?

05

I still don't see any 05 Runes listed. Only 04s!
I am so impressed with Honda's forthcoming on this.

With this in mind, I am wondering if you might be interested in some lovely Florida investment property.

It’s conveniently located on “Alligator Alley” and priced to sell!

When can I sign up?

It appears that Honda just let the Rune fade away without comment.
Too bad because they're great bikes.

What do you mean, they said it was a one year model, they still have it listed on their website, they still service it and will sell you a new '04 if you can find one, you can get spare parts, and most importantly I have very little desire for another model year (IMHO one year is just fine with me).

NO '05 YEA. This is where I say I told you so.

I've written this in fun but I told you so, oops I already said that.

I just meant that I wish Honda would come out and say what they are doing. If they announced that 04's were it and that production was over, I think they would sell their inventory quickly.
What is sad is their lack of communication to their dealers and customers.

Andy, I knew that my comments would be taken too seriously, they were said in fun, except the I told you so part heheheheheehehehe.

On a serious note, Honda has always said that the Rune was a one year concept bike they brought to market because they could, they never said anything about future years. It was everyone else speculating more years would come.

Honda will always innovate just not with a bike called the Rune.

OBTW did I say ,I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so ,I told you so, I told you so, I told you so ..........................

No 2005 Rune

Just found out Honda has a special deal on remaining 04s....

3.9% financing for 72 months or 4.9% for 72 months with no payments for 6 months.

Approximately 3000 produced, no 2005s according to the gentleman I spoke with-otherwise the dealers would have been shown them at the recent show.

If you own one, you have a collector's item. And, as with other "investments"....you may have to lose money first before you make it.....Wish I still have my Super Duty 455 Trans Am....

2004 Rune

Amen! :D
I for one think that if Honda only produces 3000 Rune's that at some point in the future the price will have to rise.
Iam amazed  at the amount of people, quite a few of which are M.C. riders, who have never heard of or seen a RUNE.Remember everything new decresses in value but if the item is really valuable at some point the price will increase.in the year that I have owned my bike I have never received a negitive comment. I have even had women in their seventy's say wow that's a nice looking motor cycle. :bow1: I didn't buy my bike as an investment but am willing to bet that 3000 items of the quality of the RUNE far outway the value of most mass produced bikes.I consider myself as one of the lucky 3000. Let's all enjoy the ride :biker:

I sure wish I had the spare $347/month to go out and buy my "auxilaRune" for safe keeping. I have NEVER had anyone make any off comments about my Rune, and yes, my 84 yr old lady friend loves it and says it is very artistic (she is a locally famous artist).

Batman,
Sorry to have to OUTDO you on the seniority lookers :) . But I had a lovely lookin lady in he mid. to late 80's oogle at my Rune as she sauntered on by with her walker with the aid of her 60ish year old daughter( in late Sept). She stopped and gave the Rune a long deep look and said it was the nicest looking bike she has EVER seen. She said she used to ride with her husband many years ago. She said seeing the Rune brought back fond memories.
The Runes certainely are chick magnets
