Just to let you guys know,
I got a Rune in the shop right now, that I took the ehaust off to modify .
The owner ask me to gutt it out and reinstall. It sounds BAD ASS. Not your Harley style loud but sounds good, performance wise I did not notice any difference. BUT by doing this job I came up with an idea that anyone can do if they are handy with a hole saw and you dont even have to take the exhaust off, and you will get the exact same thing.

Oh yeah bye the way A jig is being built as we speak so that we can built a complete bolt on Rune exhaust system from the Cyl head all the way to the tip. will have some pictures within a day or two.
For all the one that wanted a performance exhaust we are looking at building match headers and cans for the Rune

Whats the step by step on the hole saw treatment? Would be interested in a complete exhaust but sound is very important to me. My wifes Valk has the Two Bros. six into six and thats the best I have heard on a Valk..

Ditto on the hole saw method. This way when I screw it up I have to buy the new exhaust system later. :roll: :wink:

Are you using the existing style muffler/rear section? Or are you going to designing a new system all together? I would be interested in a totaly new system which would not only look different but increase performance and sound levels.

I removed mine. I am having all of the internals removed. I posted something about this under the tech section.

I'll let you all know about sound and performance when I get it back on.


Still interested in the performance exhaust, as long as it looks the same. Honda got the visual part right.
