I was going thru my "essentials" list for the Rune rally.....realized the little backpacks I have won't do the job.

Any advice on where I can get a nice decently sized backpack for the jaunt?

Thanks!

Back Packs

Most Military bases have a great assortment of expanable ones, but I just purchased a waterproof carrier for my wifes bike and let her haul all the luggage. ..Nelson Riggs bag...connects to the back rest of her Ultimate X seat and straps to the bike frame with tie downs...lots of room for the gifts I plan to bring back!! :pepper1: :pepper1:

Really looking forward to meeting all you all out there... :chat1:

Backpack

Thanks!

REI has a store in Atlanta...unfortunately, I was there yesterday and won't be back until after the rally.

In Gulf Shores, AL right now....no REI stores in Alabama....maybe Coleman has one....

Ken, which REI model do you have?

You might consider soft bags that hang from the fender rather than a backpack. See my photos in the Rune Photo Post.

Go here for larger pics: http://bigbikeriders.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=1823&password=
These bags are slung over the fender and under the seat and held in place by the seat. They have a heat resistance fabric on the back and bottom that can be seen in the view from the back. They also have the ability to expand to a larger size than shown. The manufacturer is Givi and they can be found on the web and in some bike shops.

Since the photos were taken, I have added a bag that sits on the rear of the seat and is straped in place to the Corbin back rest. I used this combination, without the expansion, to transport all my needs for a five night stay in Daytona including a rain suit.

CAUTION: The heat resistance fabric is somewhat abrasive and can scratch the surfaces that it contacts. I plan to add some form of cushioning or isolation before my next use.

Rune Bags

Great idea....my big concern is the scratching!

Let me know what you come up with, see you at the rally...hope the bags are on your Rune....

Dear ladies! Please share your experience, where I can buy a women's briefcase? I've had one briefcase for almost 10 years, so it's a bit damaged now) There is nothing critical with it, it didn’t fall under the train, but a slight haze of the last decade is already noticeable. I wanna find something new, what https://coolbagsclub.com/best-womens-briefcase/ about this?

I doubt there are too many ladies on this forum who utilize a briefcase on a day to day basis, so I thought I'd go ahead and jump into this question.

I've no idea of who you are, or what your taste in briefcases might be, but I don't think you could go wrong with one of EBay's many fine choices of lady's briefcase selections. For instance, this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Uni...848384?hash=item4d68082e40:g:XgoAAOSwzgBY3W5K It looks to me like it would fit right in to most situations from an airport travel scenario all the way to the most serious of board room gatherings. The other ladies present would most likely be green with envy.
