BLOWN OR BAD TURN SIGNAL FUSE?

I have both the Kisan SignalMinder and the Scorpion Alarm system in the turn signal circuit. The other day after I started the RUNE I noticed I lost my turn signals. I'm not sure, I may not have turned the alarm off with my eagerness to ride but when I hit the turn signal------nothing. Is'nt it a terrible feeling when your RUNE's not right 
I looked at the fuse and it looked good (test meter battery dead) I put the original flasher back in and nothing. I changed the fuse and all is normal.
