Engine similarities

Anyone know how close the the Wing, Valk, and Rune engines are?

Would cams etc for one work with the other? I know the Valk is a 1520cc mill, but the heads and block are the same aren't they? Are there cam kits or any other mods for the flat 6?

Just curious, since the rating for the Rune seems low for what it is & a few mods should wake it right up.

well between valk & rune,nothing the same,like u posted........
between the wing and the rune very diff.....computer system all diff....
the cams and the valve train specs are diff..also.the exhaust ports specs.are diff....
so that means the heads are diff....also.
but the pistons and connecting rods are the same specs.....
i have found out that there are two diff.... pistons used,same specs.
the oiling system alittle diff......the intake and the injector mapping system are diff..... there are even diff....in cal. runes in the cam specs....
the cal.. rune is detuned i beleive i little more than rest......

i would say the diffenece in riding the two i think is the rune has a advantage in the mid range torque department, it rolls on from 65 to 90 aalmost effortlessly.. easier than the wing, which is no slouch.
i would give the over all (gripp and rip method ) to the wing in my case.
but it is very close.. i am still enjoying researching the issue and have granted myself 10 years tofiure it out 8) :lol:

Hi WIZ, what about the current Wings? How different is a 2004 Rune from a 2023 Wing?
