Dow Corning Molykote Gearguard M, which is molybdenum disulfide in a synthetic oil base. You may recall that I drained my rear drive at 1,000 miles and then somewhere around 10,000 miles, while noting the amount of magnetic goo on the drain bolt magnet. There was NO goo, nada, zilch, when I checked it at 24,000 miles.
It is never too late or too early to switch. When you read the svc manual, the rear drive is simple, but takes quite a beating!
