It's obvious I don't own one yet
(doing my homework). As a previous GL1800 and Valkyrie owner, I liked how both of them sounded stock; very refined sound, reminiscent of a Porsche 911.
Anyway, heard Honda went to the trouble of making the Rune sound like a V-twin, by connecting pipes 1,3,5 to one muffler, and 2,4,6 to the other. If this is the case, the bike probably sounds like crap from either side, just like the first Vipers did (until they got a crossover pipe). I'd HATE the wonderful F6 to sound like a V-twin, and would like your opinion of sound difference from the ones I can relate: Valk and/or GL1800. From the two, I liked the Wing better because it was slightly throatier.
Glad to participate on Lamont's 3rd board (good job buddy); was waiting for this to ask questions. Thanks gang.
