What I see seeping looks more brownish.
If it isn't now seeping your BLUE brand of anti-freeze, I think we can now ascertain that you don't have a coolant leak, and therefore, tightening coolant system hoses isn't going to be of any help.

Have you taste-tested the brownish seep stuff to see if you can tell exactly what it is? Brownish stuff would seem to me to be more along the lines of an oil seep. I guess that perhaps fried green anti-freeze might turn brownish, but a quick taste-test should be able to pinpoint that, as any anti-freeze I ever put to my tongue had an unmistakable sweetness to it, whereas any oils were just plain nasty and/or bitter.

Have not done a taste test. It's in a tough spot to "capture" a drop.

Whelp... I`m done for now. I`ve been at it for the past two days after work. How anyone managed to simply remove the alternator cover and get to the three hoses on the wp is beyond me. All i can get to with the camera is the top two hoses, and the top side of the Y underneath. I cannot for the life of me get anywhere near the weep hole or that third lower clamp. Next would be to remove the tank, battery, battery box, ecu, etc... and come in from the back. I DID NOT see any traces of blue coolant what-so-ever.. What i did see is what looks like oil to me. So... I will continue to ride the hell out of her. Watch my fluids, and try to capture a drop of this fluid on a paper towel to confirm 100% what it is. I may reach out to KenCrawleySC if he is still around, and see which dealer he trusts to service his bike in SC when the time comes. I`m not going to let this get me down on what is still the honeymoon period with my new bike. I`ve put over 2k miles without even noticing an issue already this winter until I got the lift adapter. Zero drips on the floor. I will update this thread when I find something solid. I`ll figure it out. Thanks to all the replies, especially Rune-Gearhead, thank you sir for your time and pictures. Much appreciated.

I hope I'm not mistaken (lord knows, wouldn't want to say someone is dead....IF THEY AREN'T)....but I'm about 95% sure....make that 99%....that Ken passed away some time in the past and his wife came on here selling his bike? I'm pretty sure of that. Ken moved from SC to the mountains of Idaho long ago. Then I think he died from some illness....perhaps cancer? I hope I'm not misspeaking, but I'm really pretty sure that's the case.

Is this Ken's old bike?

You’re right Tim. Unfortunately Ken passed away awhile ago. He was a great guy and we were able to eat together a few times while he was in Afghanistan fixing MRAP radios. He loved his wife Kat.

Well, gave the camera another try this morning. I can confirm that all three hose at the pump are bone dry. The clamps look tight, considering the bulging of the hoses on either side of clamps. That weep hole is a pita to get to. The head of the inspection camera will not make the turn to get up into the spot between clutch cover and wp.

"If it was my Rune, I would ride it and watch it, you shouldn't have to work that hard to find a drop. If the situation
changes or when you have a need to remove the fuel tank etc., address it again at that time.

Blame the lift adapter!";)

"Can't be Ken's, his had over 65,000 on the clock, it was posted this one has 10500 miles."

I can’t remember. Tim, you want to chime in?

Wing probably did meet him the year he came to the Rally from Belgium. If I remember right.....Ken and Kat and the boy all came to the rally that year. It was one of the years we had it at Erwin. I remember hanging at the pool for a while watching their boy while they were up in their room upstairs.....er....ugh.....doing something or another. 😁
