Hi Ken, this is Brent in Calif, I was wondering I read in an old post of yours re: the soot that we all deal with on a regular basis and I want to know you mention something about using Shell gas & I am assuming that the 93 stood for octane, a number of months have gone by since your original post and wanted to know if you still feel that the shell gas took most of the soot away, you could you please update us to weather you still feel the same or what has changed if anything, thanks in advance.

Hey Brent I'm in Ca. I have been using Shell V-power Gasoline in my Rune I think it's 92 octane and The soot is reduced from before.
I would definitely recommend using it still get some soot but is reduced!

Yes. I try to exclusively use Shell 93. It definitely cuts the soot down. Use whatever the high octane is for your altitude, just make it Shell.
when I pulled my plugs, they were barely dark.

"mean green" cleaner dissolves the soot without any wiping.
