Hi,
today j replaced the front tire.
the bike was blocked at the rear tire on an elevator (lift) and lifted under the engine.
j covered the front fender with bubbleplastic drap and remouved anything according the manual. only the front fender was remouved by the back following the instructions of the board friends.
Not necessary particular tools as in italy we use decimal keys.
30 minutes for disassembling 15 minutes for replacing tire and valve 30 minutes for reassemblig with a few stops for the following points.
a) disassemblig j looked a small round piece of black rubber and j could not understand from where was coming. when j reinstalled it seems that was between the fender and one bolt probabily for avoiding vibrations.
b) you need some bloking paste for 2+2 bolts of the 3+3 on the brake sistem. j used loctite blocking bolts medium
c) two bolts have an hole and use a small piece of aluminium for blocking
d) two bolts seems to be autoblocking and they should be replaced
points c and d are not mentioned on the manual.
the mounted tire had no need of adjustment the balancing was perfect.
j looked at the manual for dissassembling the wheel and all the wheel mouving sistem . it seems to need some special tolls and sealing rubbert spare parts to be replaced.
the pad set was 70% good.
tire replaced at 11.500 km the rear tire seems to be at 60% or more.
ciao
