Jack for the Rune

I'm sure that this has been covered but I would like to know if anyone has been jacking the Rune up to work on it? I have a Heavy duty jack from my Valkyrie days and was wondering if it can be modified it to work.

Didn't you do the Boss thing? How's it doin'?

The Rune adapter is pretty simple... I made one from wood, but the Rune is so low, the back tire needs to be rolled up onto a 2 x 4 before the Larin lift will slide under it. Getting one done up in steel would be a better choice. Thin is good.

I have a twin side post, car lift, that works well for the Boss Hoss but the Rune is to narrow. I might make an adapter later but in the mean time I will make the old Valk lift work.

Thanks

lift

I have the bike lift from sears and made a adapter. I believe it was LUV2KRZ that posted good pics of the adapter he designed. I have all the pics saved, if you'd like to have them let me know.
Hog Slayer,
I too have the sears and larin jacks. The sears is a bit too high for the Rune. I didn't see the pics. KRZ posted for his adaptor . Would you mind sending them to me if you can? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,

Sears Mod for Rune Pics...

HogSlayer, Runeski or whoever... can I get a pic of the adapter built for the Rune that fits the Sears lift.... HogSlayer, I believe you said it was a pretty easy modification.... did you make yours from Wood? I need an adapter badly... :)
I also would like a pic of that adaptor for the sears lift.
Thanks inadvance

Poppz
I would like to see the adaptor too :tools1:
I'm always working on or cleaning it
How to Work on Rune

Ohhhhh! such a sweet setup Adrian... Do you use and adapter for the lift or do you just tie it down?

No.

I built the lift cross bars to lift my new Wing but the Rune is much lower so I needed to drop the two angle irons down a couple of inches.

I took the measurements from the board and tried to build a lift adapter for my jack but just couldn't make it where it felt safe so I modified the bars for my Rune.
