K & N air filter modification for the Rune
Don't have any pictures right now but all the plans are in and the machinist is ready to go. The CNC adapter comes in two parts the lower part bolts on directly to the lower air box of the Rune and will except a K&N air filter. The upper part secures the filter and also a specific provision is made for the air temp sensor.
Performance: by using this modification you are increasing the horsepower by 10% ( some of you know already that my Rune Dynoed at 107 Hp using this air intake modification only).
Another positive aspect is the residual on the exhaust system (soot) has disappeared by at least 90%.
Also on my Rune I have noticed an increase in noise coming from both the intake and the exhaust!
For the RUNE RIDERS board members only I will give a discounted price of $365.00 which includes The K&N Air Filter, (shipping is extra). Make sure when you order you give me your handle and the last 4 digits of your Rune so I can match it up to our VIN LIST(thanks Dave)
I will be putting these adapters for sale on EBAY at a price of $395.00 in the future.
