Just got my new chrome caliper covers from Hal. What quality piece's they are. Absolutely the kind of product deserving of the Rune. Thanks to anyone making or attempting to make good quality, good fitting after market products for the Rune. Keep up the good work. Ed

Lets See Them Covers

How about posting a picture or two of the covers installed.

I just installed Ultimate Machine's Chrome Banjo Bolts (got them from www.cruisercustomizing.com) and had my front calipers chromed. :D The bolts are great looking. :D I also painted the end of the lines that were black from Honda.

I've posted a couple of pictures of the lines and Banjo bolts. As soon as I get a good in focus picture of the calipers I'll post that. I paid $45/caliper to have them chromed, got them back in a week from Valley Platting 408 988-5502 ask for Fred. :D

Ed,
I received mine today, they look very nice. The method of attachment is ---- very interesting. A spring wraps around different parts of the caliper and double sided tape sticks to the word nissin on the caliper. Not how I thought it would attach. The double sided tape SHOULD come off when it comes time to service the brakes, but will it stick again when you re-assemble, I hope. All the bolts and the bleeders are covered. Once again they do look VERY nice.
I found a nice couple who sell parts, D & K parts , REAL good prices. 1-800-232-9069

Rivco caliper covers

I just put mine on .The fronts are great but the rear hits the fender when you bounce on the bike . Did you have that problem ?

Ed.
I have plenty of room. My wife put her thumb between the cover and the fender. Take it off and try to manuver the cover so the cliper sets into the cover fully.
Good luck

caliper covera

I just called Rivco . I had the rear caliper along side the bleeder nimple instead of over it . IT clears fine now . I'm glad because they sure look great on the bike . I highly recommend them . I also got the stainless side covers which give a nice finished look to the motor .
