since july 2003 we have 20 points on our driving licence.
driving without belts less 6 points
crossing the red light 6 points. ecc

on the highway we have infomations. but how to get more points??

do you have the same in USA ??

points here in australia! Caught doing more than 45kmh over the speed limit of 100kmh is automatic six month loss of license. Over 60 more earns you some jail time!

I expect there would more than a little public resistane in italy. a few of my friends laughed when they heard about the points system being introduced!

J had a driving bike experience in Usa. J respected the speed limit and no interest to run faster. In Italy very difficult to remain in speed limits if you are not alone on the road, all traffic is always faster than you.

resistance no possible. we have a government tipical asburgic (austria domination burocracy) mentality. We have a hole in the street, they do not close the hole but put a signal (maximum speed 20 miles). we have small roads, no larger them but reduce speed. and so on. New beton on the road the surface higher and rain draining holes still down. any hole is a "damned"

J think there is a silent resistence. just a few days back the magazines say "in france there are three milions drivers without licence". they have points since a long time. probabily that will happen also here.
p.s. in europe we do not need a driving licence for purchasing a car or a bike.
