A message from the State Department

Rich:

When you ship the “RuneSki” side covers to Australia make very cretin you package them carefully. If they arrive with a single scratch on them, and you piss off Aussie James, all he has to do is go out in the back yard, beat on a drum and the United States will be engaged in another international debacle and this with a tribe of Aborigine Outback Warriors.

As you are well aware our armed forces don’t do well against people who lack indoor plumbing. Hell we can’t even beat an unwashed horde of deodorant deprived Pakistani cave dwellers.

Chuck,
Ah,as soon as James hinted he may partake in international trade, I went out and purchased a new Kitchenaid refrigidator. I will ( donate the fridge to a needy Black Rune owner ) and use the fridge box to pacakage the Rune Ski sidecovers, protected also by 2 tons of stryofoam packaging material. I was thinking along the same lines as you, very strange indeed!!
Chuck, it is also very hot in Jersey at this time. That may be why our thought patterns are similar.
Thanks for showing concern, again !!

If what you mentioned happens, will that have any affect on the Outback resturants in the Tri-State area ???
Thanks, Rich.

nice try guys

I haven't checked this page for a while - like the sense of humour. I guess we wait for the olympics and see how the aussies kick some american butt again perhaps?

Do any of you have pictures of the sidecovers?

I, of course, am interested in any sparkly bits for my Rune. However, before I send Rich money for his product I'd like to have a better idea what they are.

Thanks,

Dirk Carnahan

I ruined the paint on one of the sidecovers when I rubbed too hard with Flitz polish. Cheezy paint on plastic!!! I want a set.

I am happy to say that the first batch of the best side covers made for the Rune are gone. The company that laser cut them for us is booked soild for 6 to 8 weeks.
Thank you all for your support.
I'll be back with more.

One Happy Owner

I received the sidecovers a couple of weeks ago and have been so busy deer hunting, I never had a chance to write. They look GREAT! and the instructions are very detailed. So detailed in fact that I might even let Glenn the handyman try the install for me......... NOT! I'm sure I'll find away to mess something up without his help  Thanks again
