Nice bike!

Dave;
Nice job on your bike?
Have you painted the frame yet? I was thinking of having mine done to match teh paint ~ black.
Where did the mirrors come from?
What is the bubble?

NH Bill, The mirrors are called 'Golf Club' mirrors. They vary in price from shop to shop by an enormous ammount, yet they all come from the same place in Taiwan. I've seen them for $199 each side. You'll get the exact same product from the company in the link below for aound $50 a pair. A lot of people on the V-rod board have bought from them with no problems.
I think they're one of the best looking mirrors around.

Hey Bill

Hey Bill
I might have confused you with the post above. The blue bike with the black graphics paint job is not actually MY bike. It's of two pictures that I found on the web. My bike is the Illusion Blue stock paint job. I've done a bunch of little things to my ride but I haven't changed the paint job. You can see the changes in my personal gallery on this forum.

Thanks for the link. These golf club mirrors fit the Rune ok? without having to machine parts? I like the idea of seeing past my shoulders ~ and I'm not real wide but the stock ones are hard to get the right view especially the right side.

Thx,

I was confused ~ thanks for making me smarter.
I like your shots in your gallery. Can you tell me more about your "banjo bolts? Which are they?
And, my bike is black and the grey frame just bothers my "eye". You ever seen anyone who matched their frame to their color or thought of doing it yourself?
Thx,

Banjo Bolts

Bill;

If you scroll around on the threads here on this forum, you will find a user by the name of shop dog96. His name is Tom and he has a son named Tom/Jr. They own a machining shop in Florida and make lots of candy for the Rune. They own one themselves so they bench test everything out on their's first.

Look up under his personal photo gallery and you'll see what banjo bolts are, on, and off the bike. He's got lots of Xmas Rune Presents, so be careful. You and your wallet will soon be separated :D :) :? :roll:

He sort of has a way of starting you off with just one little itty bitty item and before long your nagging him to stop making you drool all over your Rune with the continual flow of chromeies that keep appearing on it.

Maybe Tom could make everyone a chromed bib next :D
