Hi:

yes, I drive too freeking fast and have always been that way. As Bob Dylan said ..."some things you get too old to learn..."

So, Pasport has always been a good radar protector & I bought a cordless. It was great till I spent a lot of time looking at it to make sure it wasn't falling off, catching it as it bounced off my windshield etc. :eek:4:

Anyone have any luck mounting one of these? and saving yourselves from

:cop2:

???

thx,

Instructions for Bill

Chuck,

I did send Bill a p.m. about how to do it - without commenting on anyone´s userlevel - I'm an IT-mongolian my self, so I don't want to get in clinch with anybody on this issue ....

"Sitedata"... hmmm - are You an IT-consultant, Chuck ?

- - -

Now back to the cordless radar detector - here in Denmar they are illegal to use. You get fined getting stopped by the police having one in/on Your vehicle. - "Big Brother is watching You", but You aren't permitted to watch Big Brother :!:

Site Data;

Thanks for agreeing with me ... I wish more people would - especially my kids  !

However, I made the mistake of following the directions "to the letter" from an old post back last year (no names needed) where the final "/" is left out of the string of data.

But, now I'm on the right road ~ it was that last turn that wasn't on the map that I needed.

Thanks
:)

I think I also figured a way to more safely hang my radar detector. If it works I'll post a picture.

Be well & enjoy the day,

I put my Solo Escort detector in my jacket pocket, with an earphone in my ear. That way, I knew exactly when the State trooper got me with his instant on... So I knew exactly a moment before his blue light went on!

RADAR

Thanks Ken!

I'll remember that next time I drive in your state :cop2:

Here in "Cow Hampshire" they don't have those new fangled instant-on deevices. Heck, my old 1995 Acme~Apex detector works just fine for me in my car once I remember to turn it on. :drive1:

BTW - I think I'll bolt the slide bracket of the detector to the center cap bolt in the middle of my windshield bracket - that way when I hit a bump and it comes flying off the bracket I'll have a good chance of catching it in my teeth :eek:4:

Better practice your "instant-on" brake reactions ... next time you might beat 'em.

Rune Spyder:

No but I planned on discribing that under my old post in tech board under "frame color"

so I don't do it twice

Thanks for noticing them from those tiny pics, though
