You guys (and Ladies!) are really something. I love the information that we share on this board. If it weren't for this board....i would have had no idea about Big Black Smoke (BBS) problem when my Rune got it. Who knows how long it would have taken them to figure it out? :sparkplug1:

If it weren't for this board, i wouldn't have known about the success of the "hole in the muffler"...what it sounded like...where to drill...etc. :tools1:

If it weren't for this board, we wouldn't be having our first ever Rune Rally in September! :biker:

If it weren't for this board, i probably wouldn't know about half of the wonderful vendors we have making parts for our bike....or be able to see/hear comparisons between aftermarket seats, windshields, etc. For that matter, if it weren't for the board, would half of those vendors even exist? :1st:

And another thing, i have never had to delete a single 'bad' or negative or inappropriate post on this board. Most Moderators can't say that. No flames directed at other people...no BS controversial political or religious argument type posts...etc. Ok...maybe sometimes we all get a little on the edge....but so far, everyone keeps everything pretty civil around here. And for that, I am TRULY thankful!!!! :!: :!: :!: :clap2:

Thanks to all of you. Here's hoping we continue to grow (but only by as many LIMITED Runes that are sold!!)...and continue to have all the sharing of information and camaraderie that has made this board the GREAT place it is! :beer3: :capwin:

Hey RedValk

I've just finished reading your post and I think I need to go get some more kleenex for my eyes.......... JK You dahhhhhh Man
You did hit it right on the head though. This board IS the reason I made my purchase of the Rune. When I saw it I fell in love instantly. This board though gave me the insight on making a very well informed purchase on such an expensive love. Thanks a million guys/girls.

We thank you for handling the board so well. As for the people on the board I guess a small circle of friends keeps it great, with a lot of heads up on all the Rune issuses.
Thanks

really...it's YOU guys that desserve the accolades

You are the ones that keep it clean...keep it civil....keep the info flowing. I just sit back and moderate it....but really, there isn't that much to moderate. You seem to moderate yourselves. This board seems to contain a certain breed of people who are a class above the average board participant at other sites. Other sites i go to often are full of flames and porn and hate and controversial, non-bike related topics. that just doesn't seem to happen here! Dat' makes me HAPPY!!!!

Bhehavior, manners etc. of the members og The Rune Board

Tim,

Nice to read your overall comments and perception - as a moderator of the Board - of the behavior and conduct of the Board members, even though - as far as I see - no written rules.

- There simply seems to bee a significant correlation between beeing a gentleman and a Rune enthusiast ? 8) Discussion and information sharing among quite different people located allmost over the world with different backgrounds and cultures - based on a common interest - and with a good deal of "whit" (did I spell that right ?) on the basis and the scope to offence nobody - despite differenc(i)es among Boardmembers - that keeps the board going - "just" "unmoderated" ... :)

NH Bill, I don´t know how to take that issue in to your inventory on common caracteristics of Rune enthusiasts - beeing a gentleman - perhaps you´ll find out ... As I´m informed, it´s a problem asking a person from a statistical point of view to give his own opinion about himself on such personal related issues ... ("Are you a gentleman ?" - Nobody would admit not beeing that while answering that question ...) - this comment only adressed to the male board members - there is a few female Board members

BTW : It has really been an experience chatting with South Carolina, Alabama and Iraq here from the Northern Europe - at the same time - globalization, ref. Hannibal ... 8) - not to forget ! 8)

Very nice Job, without the support from so many of you I would have already given trying to import the first Rune to France.
