Grey"What MARK was used on the fuel tank sides? And what color label was used on the rear fender?"
ok cool" So no paint/color label on rear fender? Looks like they stayed with the same color mark as was on it when Black.
Yellow Rune(s) have been talked about before.

If a Rune starts out as one color and is repainted by whoever and has miles put on it. They're all
just used repainted Runes (IMO).
Most be a number of fakes out there (I doubt those that own them think they're fake), I know of three yellow Runes not counting the Gold Disney one."
I know that the Rune on the side of the tank is Not from the CBC. They are grey as shown in photo. For the rear HONDA is the raised Chromed emblem.ok cool
"MARK (side of fuel tank) from a DCCB, three different MARKs below.I know that the Rune on the side of the tank is Not from the CBC. They are grey as shown in photo. For the rear HONDA is the raised Chromed emblem.
It's no different like Ford had a one-off paint Mustang that was sold and driven with lots of miles (over 78,000) and yet 10-15 years ago it sold for over $100,000. Hey who know in 20 years, what any of them will go for, but time will tell.
I enjoy it just the same.
there seems to be a lot of that going around now days....especially around my household. Not as young as I once was ya' know...........think there's a Toby Keith song that speaks to that..................I'd have mine repainted yellow right now if I had a guaranteed buyer at $225,000.00. And, I'd throw in a set of SS side covers made to cover the area around the key switch & opposing side covering the oil dipstick. Ok, not really, but I'd definitely be in it with Shala's IB, but it has the 1 7/8" exhaust hole mod that would be dealt with at the buyer's end, if they so choose - she don't ride hers as much as she used to, and could be talked into a new GW to replace it.
If you do this at the next Rune rally, I'll pass a hat around to see what can be collected towards it.Hell, I’d paint myself yellow if there was $225,000.00 involved!!!
