Jag33 WAS a member on the board. He scammed another member out of money.....and I got notified in a Report. Upon investigating, I found this individual had MANY IP addresses...which is ALWAYS a Red Flag on any Forum. But the real kicker is I was given their phone number in the Report. I googled that phone number (469-546-5390), and that number shows up in NUMEROUS other Forums as the number of an individual who scammed members on their boards. That number is all over the internet as a FRAUD perpetrator. Of course I banned Jag33. Might they try coming back here? You never know, but I have the IPs they used....the email they used. Some folks think they're clever and try to get on again.....but since I worked in Network Security for the Government for over 20 years....I have some interesting tools and connections to track people down. So 99.99% of the time....I'm going to bust them....again.

Nevertheless, stay vigilant. Be very careful making any transactions on ANY Forum.....especially with new members you don't know or who haven't been long established people on the Forum you are buying something on. So if you see someone trying to sell you something with the phone number 469-546-5390.....run.....run away. 469 Is a Dallas Texas area code. The IP's they used all traced back to New York. Here are links with others scammed by this phone number:

SCAMMER: Daniel Meyer
469-546-5390
Venmo address; @daniel-meyer-263
jabzzz770@gmail.com

On here, he went by Daryl Byrdman, byrdman117@yahoo.com . Likely ALL the names and emails they use are most likely just aliases they hide behind? Ok, that's enough background. Stay situationally aware....as we always said in the Military...........

there are too many scammers in this Rune community
The scammers are not part of our community.

Rune owners are a small group of folks. Those of us that have been here since the beginning, know each other, at least in the forum. And some we have met in person from rallies decade(s) ago.

As RedValk said, we (usually he) can usually sniff out the scammers, but not perfectly.

Always be careful. Long time members on a forum (or eBay, etc) can also have their accounts compromised. Have seen people get scammed by long-time eBay members, that had their accounts compromised, for example. So it appeared to be a long-time member, but really was not.
